Instructions

In Spelling Unit 5, we will study the /oo/ sound.  It can be spelled as /oo/ or as /ew/.  

Look at the spelling words for this week.

1. Copy all 23 words into your agenda and your spelling journal.

2. Turn in your spelling journal to be checked.

3. Pick up your flash cards.  Remember to separate your BASIC words, REVIEW words, and CHALLENGE words.

4. Divide your BASIC words into two stacks.  One stack should have the sound spelled with /ew/.  The other stack should be spelled with /oo/.

5. Then complete the following questions.
