Instructions

This week we will be studying words that have the long a sound spelled with a, ai (as in bail) or ay(as in hay).

1. Copy all 23 words into your agenda and your spelling journal. Turn your spelling journal into the green box to be checked.

2. Pick up your flash cards.  Remember to separate BASIC, REVIEW and CHALLENGE words.

3. Using your BASIC flash cards, form THREE stacks.

  2nd Stack has long a spelled with AI.

  3rd stack has long a spelled with AY.

4. Use your stacks to complete the following questions.
