Submit an artifact to show your learning of the Leadership in Digital Learning Focus Area. The artifact should demonstrate your Mastery of this Focus Area and these target areas: Intellectual Property & Copyright, Ethical Technology Use, and Global Awareness.
An artifact is a collection of evidence to demonstrate your learning of the Digital Learning Competency. The artifact must include EVIDENCE of:
- Demonstrating understanding of intellectual property standards for all communications, publications, presentations, etc.
- Requiring students to know and follow intellectual property rights, copyright, and fair use guidelines.
- Requiring students to follow digital citizenship best practices and engage in responsible digital social interaction.
- Providing opportunities for students to to increase global awareness through researching, engaging, and collaborating with other cultures via various, advanced communication and collaboration tools.
- Designing content and resources to provide each student with the appropriate educational services to meet his/her individual learning needs through high-quality technology tools and resources.
- Rationale: Provide an explanation of what and how your artifact meets the above criteria. This rationale can be included in the artifact as a separate explanation or as text in the comment feature through Canvas. Be sure to address these items:
- Describe the artifact.
- What is the context of the artifact? (i.e., your role, grade level, subject area, or setting, etc.)
- How was this work beneficial to your professional growth?
- How has this work positively impacted student learning?
