Please take a moment to look at the Self-Reflection rubric for Digital Citizenship. You will use this rubric to reflectively evaluate yourself and choose the level to begin your professional learning.

To inform this process, we recommend these steps:

  1. Review the Digital Citizenship statement and reflect on your work in this area:
    • "Teachers will model and teach digital citizenship by the ethical, respectful, and safe use of digital tools and resources that support the creation of a positive digital school culture."
  2. Look at the Mastery level and read the items in this column. Cumulatively, this information helps to identify an educator who demonstrates Mastery of this Focus Area.
    • How do you currently demonstrate these competencies in the classroom?
    • Do you consistently demonstrate all of these competencies? 
      • If yes, you may choose to enter this course at the Mastery level.
